Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to both the NewStudio website (newstudio.app), NewStudio Studio (studio.newstudio.app), and the NewStudio browser extension for Chrome and Firefox (“Service”).

There is one NewStudio account and one set of terms for all of these. These Terms and our Privacy Policy always live at newstudio.app, and NewStudio Studio does not have separate policies.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Interpretation and Definitions

Definitions

• Company (also referred to as “We”, “Us,” or “Our”) refers to NewStudio.
• Country refers to: Texas, United States.
• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, phone, or tablet.
• Service refers to the Website, NewStudio Studio, and the browser extension, in every browser we publish it for (currently Chrome and other Chromium browsers, and Firefox).
• Third-Party Service means any content, products, or services provided by an independent third party.
• You means the individual using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms form the agreement between You and the Company.

By accessing or using the Service, You agree to be bound by these Terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Your use of the Service is also subject to Our Privacy Policy.

When you create a NewStudio account, You agree to these Terms and Our Privacy Policy. When You sign in to NewStudio Studio, and each time You connect a Google account there, You agree to them again, including everything that connection allows NewStudio to do as described in the NewStudio Studio section below and in Our Privacy Policy.

Accounts & Authentication

The Service may allow you to sign in with Google, with an email address and password, or through a secure sign-in connection between the website and extension. NewStudio Studio uses the same NewStudio account.

By signing in:

• If you use Google, you authorize access to the basic account information shown during Google's sign-in process.
• If you use email and password, you agree to provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You remain responsible for your account and its security.
• We do not receive or store your Google password. Passwords created directly with NewStudio are stored only in hashed form.

You agree not to share your account or allow unauthorized access.

Description of Service

NewStudio is a browser extension and web-based tool that enhances the YouTube Studio experience. Features may include analytics, account synchronization, creator alerts, optional delivery of alerts by email or Discord, and NewStudio Studio, a web version of YouTube Studio for your own channels.

NewStudio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by YouTube or Google.

By using the Service, you also agree to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service.

Creator Alerts and Communications

When notifications are enabled, the extension may use your current authenticated YouTube and YouTube Studio session to review activity for channels available through your signed-in Google accounts and create alerts about channel, video, monetization, restriction, performance, revenue, and account-related events.

Alerts shown inside the extension are processed and stored locally in your browser. Email and Discord delivery are separate, optional features that require you to turn on the applicable delivery setting. Discord delivery also requires you to connect a Discord account and permit messages from the NewStudio bot.

You may turn off notifications, mute channels, disable individual alert types, or turn off email or Discord delivery in the available settings. Delivery timing and availability are not guaranteed and may depend on YouTube, Google, Discord, email providers, and other third-party services.

Channel Analytics (NewStats)

NewStats is an optional feature that adds an Analytics panel to public YouTube channel pages. When you open that panel, the extension reads the channel's publicly visible listing (video titles, thumbnails, lengths, rounded view counts, and upload timing, plus the channel's public description, subscriber count, total views, join date, and country) from YouTube in your browser, the same way the YouTube page you are viewing does, and sends that public listing to NewStudio's NewStats servers so the panel can show statistics and track how the channel changes over time.

These requests are made without your Google sign-in. NewStats never receives your YouTube password, session cookies, or authorization headers, and it does not read private analytics, revenue, or anything else that is not visible to any visitor of the channel page. Only channels you open the panel for are read. You can turn NewStats off in the extension settings at any time.

You may only use NewStats to view statistics for your own research and analysis. You may not use it, or the data it shows, to extract data in bulk, to build a competing dataset or service, or in any way that violates YouTube's Terms of Service.

NewStudio Studio (studio.newstudio.app)

NewStudio Studio shows the YouTube Studio information for channels you own or manage, on our website and from any device. To use it you must sign in with your NewStudio account and then connect at least one Google account.

By connecting a Google account to NewStudio Studio, you:

• Agree to these Terms and Our Privacy Policy for that connection.
• Authorize NewStudio to request the YouTube information of the channels on that Google account from YouTube and Google on your behalf, on our servers, until you disconnect it.
• Confirm that you are allowed to access those channels, and that you will only connect Google accounts that belong to you or that you are authorized to use.
• Agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, because NewStudio Studio uses YouTube API Services.

NewStudio Studio only reads your channel information. It does not upload, edit, publish, delete, reply, like, or change anything on your channel. When YouTube Studio offers an action, NewStudio Studio links you to YouTube Studio to do it yourself.

On a computer, NewStudio Studio works with the NewStudio browser extension, which reads your YouTube Studio information through the YouTube Studio session in that browser. By using NewStudio Studio on a phone or another device without the extension, You agree that NewStudio may automatically connect that device to NewStudio Studio open on one of Your computers with the extension, signed in to the same NewStudio account, and use that computer to read Your information for the device, as described in Our Privacy Policy. You can stop this at any time by closing NewStudio Studio on Your computer or signing out.

Numbers shown in NewStudio Studio come from YouTube and may be delayed, rounded, or different from what YouTube Studio shows. Some YouTube Studio information is not available to NewStudio Studio and is shown as a dash. Some features, such as combining several channels, require a paid plan.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from NewStudio Studio, or remove NewStudio's access from your Google Account permissions page. NewStudio Studio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by YouTube or Google.

Customer Identification

By using the Services, you grant Company a non-exclusive right to identify you publicly as a user of the Services, including by displaying your name, channel name, username, and associated publicly available profile image in Company websites, promotional materials, presentations, and social media. Company will not state or imply that you sponsor, endorse, or recommend Company or the Services unless you separately authorize such endorsement.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Violate YouTube or Google terms.
• Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or resell the Service.
• Bypass limits or safeguards.
• Use bots, automation, scripts, or scraping tools with the Service.
• Extract data in bulk or replicate functionality.
• Interfere with or overload systems.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations or suspected abuse.

Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription.

By subscribing:

• You agree to recurring billing through Stripe.
• You authorize automatic charges until cancellation.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.

All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

You are responsible for canceling before your next billing cycle.

Data Processing

The Service may store and process data associated with your account, including:

• YouTube analytics data.
• For NewStudio Studio: the Google accounts and YouTube channels you connect, encrypted access credentials for them, channel groups you create, and view-count snapshots used to show recent activity.
• Public channel and video statistics for channels you open in NewStats, and how those statistics change over time.
• Preferences and settings.
• Cached data for performance.
• Notification scan state, alert content, delivery preferences, and delivery records.
• Account connection information for services you choose to link, such as Discord.

Some data collection features may be optional where provided.

Links to Other Websites

We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, or services.

Termination & Service Changes

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access at any time.

We are not liable for any loss of access, data, or functionality.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount You paid Us (if any).

“AS IS” Disclaimer

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

We do not guarantee accuracy, uptime, or compatibility with YouTube changes.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless the Company from any claims or liabilities arising from:

• Your use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States.

Dispute Resolution

You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision is invalid, the rest remain in effect.

Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between You and the Company.

Assignment

We may assign or transfer these Terms without restriction.

You may not assign your rights without permission.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use means acceptance.
